Zic-Zag is Joseph Collard's first solo creation after a long and successful career with his company Les Founambules.
In Zic-Zag, he tells us with humor, without words, how he became a mime. And he takes us through his professional life, putting himself in the shoes of the people who most influenced him to become the brilliant artist he is today. He becomes a grandfather, a very boring Russian teacher and an Englishman who works with body control. And he shows us how he took to the stage for the first time in front of an enthusiastic audience that he won over.
Zic-Zag is a show for all ages, aimed at all countries, taking us into the world of imagination, where laughter and giggles mix with tears of joy and emotion.

CLOWN WORKSHOP

The Clown is a character close to our personality. We don't make Clowns, we are Clowns.
Looking for your clown is rediscovering our simple sensations, close to those of our childhood.
It's about mastering those feelings and being able to exaggerate them so much that they become comical.
It's acting out a situation, controlling our feelings, living in the present moment and discovering where it takes us.
It's discovering our ridiculous, buffoonish, jocular side, both in our expressions, our attitudes and our way of thinking.
How?
I offer simple but very rigorous exercises.

Basic work:
- neutrality work: don't do anything, just listen to your
sensations, your attitudes, your movements
- body work: decomposition of movements, rhythm, attitudes, expression. Mime techniques. 
- entrances: performing alone in front of an audience, being "fair".
- ping pong: improvisation technique for 2 or more people based on the principle of
give and take. 

Clown work:
- taking the basic exercises and practising them with our beginner clown.
