We have the honour to invite people from the community, national and international residents, interested in telling and/or listening to stories to participate in a creative process. They can do it with words or no words, in silence or in music, solo or as a pack. Collective creation guided by André Louro, Catarina Santana and Paul Johnson, with meetings in August and September.

Exhibition of Portray Photography of older people from the parish of Espinhal, taken by the photographer Margarida Macedo de Sousa, who, in addition to the photographs, also collected the testimonies of the portrayed on their critical thinking regarding the Espinhal parish and the Penela municipality.

During the program, we open space for discussions at the intersection of several themes of society with Active Ageing. This time being about Health and Active Ageing. At the round table with Paula Oliveira Guimarães, Cristina Vaz de Almeida, Graça Telo Gonçalves and Rita Valadas to talk about Health and Active Ageing.

Jurist, with intervention in the area of human rights and social economy.

Cristina Vaz de Almeida
PhD in Communication Sciences and Health Literacy and President of the Portuguese Society of Health Literacy - Sociedade Portuguesa de Literacia em Saúde

Graça Telo Gonçalves 
Degree in Law and Hospital Administration, researcher in Gerontology, PhD student in Social Sciences and Ageing. Hospital administrator since 1998, Centro Hospitalar de Coimbra (CHC), Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (CHUC) and director of Hospital CUF Coimbra.

Rita Valadas
Graduated in Social Policy, leader of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, member of IPSS governing bodies and President of Cáritas Portugal.
