Susan James lives in Lagoa de Podentes, Penela. Susan originates from England but is a Portuguese resident and has lived in the Penela Municipality with her husband since 2015. Since moving to Portugal, Susan has enjoyed having more time to be creative and to develop her art, focusing mainly on watercolours. She is actively involved in the local community helping raise funds for Penela Bombeiros, and has a sucessful facebook group for the local area. She also enjoys walking, gardening and relaxing at home with her husband and two cats.
